Malcolm Changleng

Malcolm Changleng played fullback for Gala RFC alongside Gregor Townsend and Chris Paterson in the side which won Scottish Cup in 1999. He went on to represent Borders in the 1996-97 European Cup. After retiring as a player, he became a professional referee in 2002, and refereed his first European match on 17 January 2004, when he took charge of the European Shield match between Viadana and Madrid. He retired from refereeing in January 2008.
