Sean Davey (57)

Sean is an experienced and established Premiership Referee, now in his eighth season on the RFU Elite Squad. Having refereed Italy A v France A, he is also an experienced Challenge Cup and iRB International 7’s official. He took charge of the South Africa v World XV in 2008, Middlesex Sevens Final in 2008 and the Help for Heroes match in 2009. Meanwhile, Sean’s rugby travels have taken him further abroad to Argentina, South Africa and the Churchill Cup Competition in Canada. Sean has a full RFU coaching award, was Director of Rugby at Christ’s Hospital and continues to work with development squads. He has toured as both player and coach to Australia, USA, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand. He played for Bedford RUFC, Sussex and England Students. Originally from Ashington, in Northumberland, Sean now lives with his family at Christ’s Hospital in Sussex. A teacher by profession, he is the new Development Director at a grammar school in Reigate.
