Algorithm Configuration

The rating for each player is calculated by multiplying the performance figures for each of the variables in black below, by the percentage in the table. So, for example, the ratings for best open side flanker (wearing jersy 7) is calculated by using the following calculation:-
Rating = (meters run * 10%) + (offloads * 10%) + (runs * 65%) + (turnovers won * 5%) + (tackles * 10% )
The red percentages are then used to deduct from the ratings. So if an open side flanker is yellow caded, then 20% of that player's rating is subtracted. If they are red carded, then 40% is subtracted ... same for the other three variables.
Having calculated the ratings for each player in each position for each round, these are sorted in descending order and the top player selected for the best XV for that round.
